How do I see where my home is using energy?

At OVO, you can unlock extra insights to see where your home is likely to be using the most energy. Find these insights in your online account or in the OVO app by going to the Usage screen. You need to answer a few questions about your home first, as your insights are based on your home profile.   Once you’ve unlocked your insights, you’ll be able to see categories like lighting, cooking, and entertainment, as well as appliances like fridge-freezers and washing machines. This extra info can help you spot ways to save. You’ll get some energy-saving tips as well. 

To get these personalised insights:

• You have to fill out your home profile in your online account or in our app 

• You need a smart meter

• Your meter must be sending readings every half-hour

• You can change your meter settings in our app or in your online account
